Her areas of expertise include migration, refugee policy, populism, nationalism, extremism, and general European affairs

She has acted as a panel moderator and Master of Ceremonies at events  organised by the European Union, the United Nations, the Carnegie Europe think tank, and other governmental and non-governmental organisations. 

 

In December 2018, Charlotte gave a TEDx speech in Antwerp about the rise of hate speech in politics, and in April 2019 she testified in front of the British Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, answering questions about Europe's response to the refugee crisis.
